We are looking for an Internal External Communication Advisor with more than 10 years of experience to help shape and deliver impactful communication across our organization and in the public domain in the Netherlands and develop and implement strategic external communication plans. You act as a bridge between the organization and its stakeholders employees, partners, media, public and government bodies. Ensuring that communications align with corporate objectives, safeguard reputation and promote engagement. This role has both an internal and external focus, making it dynamic and varied. It requires the ability to switch seamlessly between engaging employees and representing the organization to external stakeholders. You will work closely with colleagues in Italy and the Netherlands, specialized in Internal Communication, External Communication and Public Affairs. Working for the largest offshore gas producer in the Dutch sector of the North Sea means being part of a company that plays a critical role in national energy security and the energy transition. It also means working with a wide range of stakeholders, from engineers to policymakers, which keeps the work dynamic and meaningful. Main duties and responsibilities Internal Communication Develop and implement internal communication plans tailored to local needs, in alignment with global communication strategies Write and edit content for a variety of channels (e.g. intranet, newsletters, email campaigns, leadership updates, internal events and external events) Support change management and culture-building initiatives by crafting consistent and engaging narratives Act as a communication partner for local leadership, advising on tone, timing, and delivery Collaborate with HR and other departments to improve the employee experience through effective messaging Measure the impact of communication efforts and propose improvements based on feedback and analytics External Communication Develop and implement strategic external communication plans to enhance the organizations reputation and visibility in close collaboration with the Head of External Relations Draft and coordinate press releases, QAs, and external speeches Support leadership and colleagues with messaging for public appearances, panel meetings, and stakeholder engagements. Monitor public sentiment, industry trends and media coverage Ensure consistent corporate branding and messaging across different external events/tools (such as LinkedIn, events, publications) Collaborate on Public Affairs matters to align messaging with policy goals and stakeholder expectations Profile More than 10 years of experience in internal and external communications, corporate communications, or related fields Strong writing and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for tone and audience Experience working in an international or matrixed environment is a plus Fluent in English; Dutch proficiency is an advantage Proactive, collaborative, and confident in engaging with stakeholders at all levels Qualifications Agile and adaptable in the face of changing situations, flexible in mindset and doesnt overcomplicate Takes ownership and accountability, embraces the ambiguous world we operate in, makes tough, well-timed and informed decisions (when applicable) Works effectively in a matrix structure, shares knowledge freely and embraces different opinions; demonstrates a team of teams mindset Is entrepreneurial, pushes boundaries and leads with conviction, is a catalyst for and supporter of change Ambitious to succeed and driven to exceed expectations (business oriented) Acting in compliance with Company values: Health, Safety Environment: Excellence in HSE is demanded and integral to everything we do.
