Join the Group Digital Team at BME as an Azure Sr. Data Engineer and play a pivotal role in driving our digital transformation. As part of a dynamic and innovative team, you will contribute to developing BMEs digital backbone with a focus on building and optimizing data platforms using cutting-edge tools like Azure Databricks and Apache Spark . This is your opportunity to make a significant impact by implementing transformative data solutions that enable actionable insights, innovation, and the modernization of operations across Europe. Data Lake Development : Build and maintain scalable, secure Data Lakes using Azure Databricks and Delta Lake . Design and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory , Databricks , and Apache Spark to handle large-scale, real-time data. Implement Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers using formats like Delta , Parquet , and JSON for data transformation. Data Modeling : Develop and optimize data models using star schema and slowly changing dimensions for analytics and operations. Data Governance : Ensure robust data security with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Unity Catalog . Collaboration : Work closely with data scientists, IT teams, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions. Experience : At least 5+ years as an Azure Data Engineer in complex enterprise environments. Proficiency with Azure Data Factory , Databricks , Synapse Analytics , and Azure Storage . Strong skills in SQL , Python , and data modeling techniques. Familiarity with data formats like Parquet and JSON. Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
