Point Wild is building the Trailblazer AI Team a dedicated group focused on applying AI to enhance our products, drive business growth, and deliver real-world impact across multiple product lines (antivirus, VPN, identity protection, password management, and more). As the Team Lead / Senior AI Engineer , youll be at the helm of this initiative, owning AI execution, guiding technical strategy, and coding alongside the team to bring AI solutions from concept to production.
This is a player-coach roleperfect for someone who thrives in both leadership and hands-on engineering. Youll work closely with R&D teams, define the AI roadmap, manage execution, and ensure all AI efforts are impactful, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
Manage the execution of the AI roadmap, ensuring AI initiatives align with business objectives and drive measurable impact.
Technical Leadership: Serve as the single technical point of contact for AI initiatives, providing expert guidance on architecture, model selection, and deployment.
Write production-level code, submit PRs, and review team contributionsensuring high-quality AI solutions with best practices in software engineering and MLOps.
Code Quality & Best Practices: Conduct PR reviews, uphold rigorous engineering standards, and mentor engineers to elevate AI development across the company.
Shared AI Expertise Across the Business: This team supports multiple R&D teams, requiring a strong technical leader to coordinate efforts and ensure successful execution.
Software Engineering Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and cloud-based ML deployment (AWS preferred).
Experience leading AI projects and mentoring engineers, with a track record of delivering AI-powered features in production.
Startup Mentality: Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-impact environment where prioritization and execution are key.
Cross-Product Collaboration: Work across multiple product lines, solving diverse, challenging AI problems in cybersecurity and digital protection.
