Job ResponsibilitiesAssure the issuance, review, and approval of approximately 1,000 technical documents in the Civil discipline.Implement engineering specifications and provide quality assurance during procurement of materials, equipment, and services to ensure conformity with sound engineering practices and cost efficiency.Emphasize HSE throughout all Civil design activities and actively contribute to developing a safety culture on the project, making safety a natural part of all work performed.Review deliverables for Civil engineering, focusing on Geotechnical and Hydraulics, detailed engineering works for undergrounds, roads, drainage systems, and concrete structures such as culverts.Provide technical support for construction material selection, testing, and approval.Coordinate with the Contractor Civil Engineering site team to ensure efforts are aligned and all issues are addressed.Identify opportunities and risks related to Civil design and operations, working with Process Safety to ensure safety safeguards and mitigations are in place.Coordinate planning and execution activities related to Civil engineering, with an understanding of multidisciplinary engineering, procurement, and execution.Assist the Civil & Structural Lead in ensuring compliance with the Civil Discipline technical requirements in the EPC contract during project execution.During site activities, respond promptly to site queries and technical issues to prevent delays, oversee rectification of punch list items, on-site tests, and erection of discipline-related equipment.RequirementsDegree in Civil, Hydraulic, or Transportation Engineering.8+ years of experience in design and execution of Oil and Gas or large infrastructure projects.Strong understanding of applicable regulatory requirements in international settings.Extensive knowledge of standard engineering methods, technologies, and computerized design techniques.Experience working in a project team environment, adaptable to both office and site conditions.Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD 2D, capable of creating and modifying layouts.Proficient in English language.#J-18808-Ljbffr
