Nexeo is currently looking for a UX Writer (Dutch-speaking) for a major financial institution based in Brussels.
Nexeo is a consultancy company that supports its clients in the banking, finance, and insurance sectors throughout their transformation projects, from business consulting to IT solution implementation.
As a UX Writer at Nexeo, you will play a key role in shaping clear, engaging, and user-centric copy that enhances the digital experience across products.
Your responsibilities will include:
Writing and editing UI text including microcopy, error messages, instructions, and more throughout the product development lifecycle (ideation to delivery).
Collaborating with cross-functional teams (designers, developers, product owners) to ensure copy aligns with the products vision and user needs.
Adapting and refining copy based on user feedback and usability testing.
Ensuring all content is accessible and inclusive for all users.
Translating or rephrasing copy from French to Dutch with a natural and user-friendly tone.
Maintaining and updating the content database and UX copy guidelines for consistency across products.
What are we expecting?
Experience: Proven experience as a UX Writer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
UX Knowledge: Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and mobile-first design.
Collaboration: Ability to work with conceptual thinkers and design teams to understand the full customer journey.
Language Skills: Native-level Dutch writing skills, with good command of French (B2/C1) and English (B1/B2).
Autonomy: Able to work independently and ensure high-quality deliverables with attention to detail.
Creativity & Adaptability: Creative, solution-oriented, and proactive within the projects constraints.
Communication: Strong communication skills, open to feedback, and capable of defending your copy choices constructively.
