Job Title: International Tax Manager at Proximus
Proximus is seeking an International Tax Manager to provide comprehensive tax support to our international segment, including BICS, Telesign, and RouteMobile. This role involves strategic tax analysis, risk assessment, and collaboration with local and international teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report to the Proximus Group Tax Lead.
- Provide end-to-end tax support, covering risk assessment, business impact, and optimization.
- Analyze tax considerations related to local presence setup and cross-border flows.
- Optimize the international operating model aligned with business objectives.
- Coordinate and lead tax due diligence during M&A activities, structuring, and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with local tax advisors and internal tax teams.
- Coach local finance and tax teams within international businesses.
- Ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance within the Proximus Group.
- Monitor legislative changes and advise top management on impacts.
- Represent Proximus during tax audits and official communications.
- This role involves business travel, particularly to India and the USA.
Candidate Profile:
- Masters degree in Economics, Law, or related fields with a specialization in tax law.
- At least 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Big 4 or in-house tax departments.
- Extensive experience with international tax matters.
- Knowledge of US and/or Indian tax regimes.
- Autonomous, strategic problem solver with project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build networks.
- Fluent in English.
