We are currently looking for a Solutions Engineer tojoin our team in Italy with expertise in the area of MobileMessaging (SMS, OTT Messaging including WhatsApp, PushNotification, RCS Messaging etc.) and its applications tocommunication solutions.The Solutions Engineering team plays acritical role in driving business and revenue growth by workingalongside our Sales organization to position Kaleyra''s products toaddress our customers needs.In this role, you''ll combine yourexceptional communication skills, technical aptitude and creativethinking to develop value propositions for our products andimplement targeted pre-sales presentations to our customers.Working directly with our Sales, Account Management and Productteams, you''ll create and present demos of Kaleyra''s latest productsto showcase how these solutions can meet client needs. You willalso be responsible for driving responses to ITTs/RFIs/RFPs, aswell as the delivery of unsolicited proposals.This means you''ll beinteracting closely and frequently with our customers on bothtechnical and non-technical levels to ensure superior customersatisfaction and help close business. Confident and polished, youbring a demonstrated record of successfully preparing andpresenting technical material to both business and technicalaudiences. You must demonstrate the ability to be a self-starter;perform under pressure, and use the continued application of commonsense.Responsibilities:Proactively and effectively identifycustomer needs, understand business issues and drivers behindspecific requests.Build & deliver custom presentations &demonstrations to customers and prospects by matching specificclient business requirements into effective technicalsolutions.Design technical solutions, which include creatingprototypes and proofs of concept.Assist sales team with RFI and RFPresponses.Present prototypes, demos and proofs of concept to a widevariety of audiences, which may include C-level executives,marketing professionals and engineers.Share customer feedback withProduct Management, Marketing & Management teams.Lead discoverydiscussions with customers and internal technical resources and beable to convert learnings into a statement of work.RequirementsAtleast 5 years of technical sales or field sales experience (salesengineering or professional consulting experience is preferred).Atleast 3 years of hosted messaging applications experience.Strongtechnical background in Mobile technologies such as SMS, OTTMessaging including WhatsApp for Business, Push Messages, IPMessaging.Some technical proficiency in Business Messagingtechnologies such as Email and IVR.Technical background in Webtechnologies such as HTTP, SOAP, REST, HTML, XML, CRM.Provenability to adapt your presentations to the technical level of theaudience, and comfort with presenting technical materials to largegroups.Working knowledge of relational database administration(Oracle preferred) is desirable.Proficient coding skills inlanguages such as HTML, XHTML, WML, Javascript and Python isdesirable.Fluency in both English and Italian is a must, withSpanish also desirable.Some travel may be required.Candidatesbelonging to Protected Categories (as per Italian Law 68/99, Art.1) are welcome to apply - La ricerca rivolta anche a candidati/eappartenenti alle Categorie Protette ai sensi della Legge 68/99,Art 1
