PLVision invites a QA Automation Engineer with over 2 years of experience in Python and Bash and a strong understanding of the Linux OS to join our team and help ensure the high quality of the innovative networking products we create. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the clients team to tackle their challenge in transitioning from manual testing processes to fully automated systems. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining a stable test environment to support product development, developing robust automation environments, and utilizing various automated testing tools. You will also be responsible for designing efficient test strategies and managing automation testing frameworks, all aimed at enhancing the quality and reliability of our solutions. Responsibilities Ensure regular quality evaluation of networking products by building and maintaining a stable test environment Test SONiC and SAI software across various platforms Expand test coverage for new product features Execute regression tests for the product line and maintain detailed test result documentation to support debugging and software modifications, triage regression results. Make sure the regression is stable with a sufficient pass rate across supported platforms. Design and implement new test cases to enhance regression coverage for emerging product features and protocols Create efficient tools and scripts to automate processes for building and testing environments Maintain and support systems and tools required to build, integrate, and test software systems Requirements 2 years of experience in test automation using Python Extensive knowledge of QA methodologies Basic network knowledge (L2/L3, routing/switching) Experience with CI methodologies and tools such as Gerrit and Jenkins Familiarity with Linux as a working environment Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering Knowledge of technical English at Intermediate level or higher Vacancy plus options Experience with SAI or SONiC implementation and integration Familiarity with testing Network Operating System (NOS) products Familiarity with Linux network tools Experience in virtualization, containerization and Python virtual environments Experience with software and hardware traffic generators (e.G., IXIA, Scapy, etc.) Solid knowledge of CI/CD processes About PLVision We are a software product development company specializing in computer networking and embedded systems.
