For the new Hardware Design Center in Italy, we are looking for: PCB DESIGNER Main Responsibilities Assist in designing and developing Printed Circuit Boards (PCB). Use CAD in preparing PCB assembly and schematic. Design PCB layouts to develop high-speed and reliable circuits. Analyze and resolve design-related issues in a timely manner. Work with the project team to understand circuit requirements and limitations. Develop design documentation and requirements specifications for assigned projects. Review and recommend improvements to existing designs. Assist in preparing test procedures and developing test fixtures to verify PCB functions. In wafer testing, identify the best scheme for lowest cost of test, considering TDE, Skip DIE, substrate stack-up. Ensure power integrity (PI) and signal integrity (SI) at board or system level through simulation, both in frequency and time domains, to guarantee hardware performance at the design stage. Implement complex mechanical design/simulation, cable design, and thermal evaluation in collaboration with PCB design to achieve high-quality hardware solutions aligned with customer testing requirements. Basic Qualifications Masters or Bachelors degree in Electronic Engineering, Micro-Electronics, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields. Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge and experience in multi-layer board design and embedded systems (Cadence). Understanding of PCB design rules supporting PCB layout (Allegro). Knowledge of signal integrity and power integrity theories. Excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, open-mindedness, and teamwork skills. Availability to travel overseas for extended periods. Place of Work Italy Contract Type Permanent (CCNL Commercio) with a salary package commensurate with experience.
