We are seeking an experienced Head of Technology / Development Manager with a strong foundation in Microsoft technologiesparticularly .NET and Azureto lead and grow our technology team, while staying hands-on with technical delivery when needed.
About the Role
This is a leadership-focused role (80%) with hands-on technical involvement (20%) . Youll shape engineering strategy and delivery standards while contributing directly to development, testing, and troubleshooting when required.
You will oversee a core development team of around 5 people , in addition to managing relationships with subcontracting partners .
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a cross-functional team of developers and engineers.
- Define and enforce best practices in software development, architecture, and DevOps.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and senior leadership to define and execute the technical roadmap.
- Contribute to architectural planning, code reviews, and solution design.
- Stay involved in coding and problem-solving to support and unblock the team.
- Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of all technical solutions.
- Manage team productivity, project timelines, and resource allocation.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in tech leadership or development management roles.
- Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft technologiesespecially .NET (C#, .NET Core) and Azure (Functions, App Services, DevOps, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture, microservices, API design, and CI/CD practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage distributed teams.
- Experience in Agile development environments and software lifecycle management.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) mandatory.
