Senior Data Scientist Python Migration & Grid Modelling

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead the industrialisation and full Python migration of our existing analytical scripts used in conjunction with DigSilent PowerFactory. This is a high-impact role requiring technical fluency, stakeholder collaboration, and a sharp eye for data integrity.
You will own the development of a robust, modular Python toolchain that replaces legacy scripts, enhances performance, and introduces new features. Key tasks include refactoring code to isolate PowerFactory dependencies, optimising performance for large-scale data, and ensuring input completeness.
Youll collaborate closely with business experts to automate manual processes, ensuring the solution is scalable and production-ready. Your work will contribute directly to energy grid modelling, integrating new capacity changes based on complex hypotheses.
