Job Opportunity: Data Engineer - Core Market Team
We are currently partnered with a globally leading proprietary trading fund based in Amsterdam and/or London. Our client is seeking to expand their Core Market team by adding an experienced Data Engineer. This role involves overseeing the organizations most valuable data products and managing their end-to-end lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be accountable for the timely and high-quality delivery of core data products.
- Develop and own the complete lifecycle of these data products.
- Define and manage project plans to maintain ownership.
- Create and standardize a common data model across these products, focusing on identifiers, normalized schemas, and master data usage.
- Investigate existing data sources to ensure optimal value extraction.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Python.
- Solid experience with Linux, SQL, relational databases, and version control systems.
- Familiarity with Airflow, Kafka, and GCP (AWS experience is also acceptable).
