TETMET is a Deeptech startup founded in 2023, specialising in making highly efficient structures available to customers in Automotive, Space, Aero, Energy and Defence. Our technology enables customers such as BMW, Stellantis, Ariane Group, Airbus and Safran to manufacture structural parts in lattices, much like the structure of the Eiffel Tower but on a smaller scale. We use advanced robotics, machine vision, laser welding and cutting techniques, controlled by cutting-edge artificial intelligence. Take a look at our story here: Job Overview As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be setting the standard in the engineering efforts of TETMET. You are a hands-on coder and can make strategic decisions that push the technology stack forward. On a day-to-day basis, you will work closely with engineers outside of the software domain to find solutions to challenging problems. That means you can quickly learn and adapt to contribute on multiple fronts, from large scale robotics, through back-end services and to our CAD Lattice Design Suite (LDS). Your key responsibilities will include: Overseeing software quality and system architecture decisions. Collaborating with engineers across disciplines (mechanical, software, robotics) to align system-wide efforts Writing high-quality, maintainable code and supporting others in doing the same Reviewing code, giving constructive feedback, and helping raise the technical bar across the team Helping prioritize and break down complex problems into manageable deliverables Mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement Staying up to date with relevant technologies and bringing insights into the team We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with the following qualifications: A degree in Computer Science or a related field. Both back-end and front-end experience (ideally React). Our web apps are internal and not customer facing, so we iterate fase and don''t require meticulously polished apps. At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment A strong foundation in systems design, architecture, and software scalability A broad technical skill set with the ability to work across the stack (e.g., back-end, infrastructure, tooling, or front-end when needed) Proven ability to lead and mentor other engineers, fostering both technical growth and team cohesion Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients A pragmatic mindset, with experience making trade-offs between speed, quality, and scalability Fluency in English is required.
