We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to be in charge of all technical activities related to the design of static mechanical equipment (Pressure Vessels) to join the team based in Barcelona.
Key Responsabilities
- Design and calculations of pressure vessels, storage tanks, drums, columns, heat exchangers, etc according to codes ASME, TEMA, API, AD-Merkblatt.
- Prepare technical specifications, material requisitions and documents for purchase order.
- Technical bid tabulations and offers analysis.
- Cheking and review of vendors drawings and documents.
- Coordination with other disciplines to define placement of nozzles, support, platforms, etc, on vessels.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Industrial Engineering, specializing in Mechanical or Materials.
- Minimum requirement 10 years experience.
- Experience in companies providing engineering services to the Chemical, Refining, Petrochemical and Oil & Gas industry.
- Knowledge of codes and standards such as ASME, TEMA, API, ASTM, AD-Merkblatt.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
