EYhas worked with the European Institutions for many years, throughlarge Audit Framework Contracts, to perform thousands of audits andaudit-related engagements. EYs global Centre of Excellence for theAudit of EU Funds is located at EY Belgium and coordinates, managesand leads all Framework Contracts on behalf of the worldwide EYnetwork. We are looking to expand our EC Assurance teamimmediately, with a dynamic and motivated individual to form partof our Contract Management team to support our Project Manager withadministrative and management aspects and the running of multiplecontracts simultaneously. Your Key Responsibilities Under thesupervision of the Project Manager you will: Assist with theplanning of audit assignments including coordinating the planningaspects for resources from other EY offices across the EU 27 &globally. Closely follow communication with the client, auditeesand colleagues through our mailbox and address such emailsaccordingly. Maintain up-to-date contract overviews and projectmanagement tools, together with proper filing for each mission interms of contracts, reports, invoices and any other documents. Dealwith questions from the clients, auditees, audit teams and localoffices. Monitor progress and deadlines for ongoing missions.Follow the finalisation and submission of reports to our clients.Prepare for and contribute to weekly status meetings for thecontracts you are involved in. Support the wider team in thepreparation of offers by reviewing CVs, preparing administrativedocuments, drafting sections of the offer and more as you buildvaluable experience. Prepare budgets for the audit missionstogether with experienced auditors. Review engagement financialmetrics on a regular basis by comparing budgets to actuals andsetting expectations based on the progress of audits. Prepareinvoices on a regular basis by: Collecting relevant documents fromthe respective actors. Compiling the information and drafting thebilling details according to the rules of the contract. Submittinginvoices to the client. Your Profile To qualify for the role: Youhave just obtained a relevant masters degree, e.g. (Project)Management, (Applied) Economics, Business Administration, BusinessEngineering, Commercial Sciences, European Studies, PoliticalSciences, etc. Fluency in English with Dutch is required. Fluencyin any other EU language would also be considered an asset. Youwill work in a diverse and international environment. You areflexible, resilient and able to work under pressure, jugglingdifferent tasks whilst respecting daily deadlines. You areefficient, rigorous and pay close attention to detail. You haveexcellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.You are proactive and are able to anticipate problems, devisesolutions to propose and implement them with the appropriatesupport. You have a critical mindset and are able to detect andanticipate potential risks/issues. You are a fast learner with astrong capacity to work independently, as well as in a team. Youare comfortable with figures. You have a good knowledge ofMicrosoft Office tools especially Word and Excel. A keen interestin European and International affairs is a strong asset, especiallyif in the field of Development and humanitarian aid, Research andInnovation, EU funding and the donor-funding environment ingeneral.
