We are looking for a Legal Counsel Europe to join our Legal team in Europe for a FTC (maternity cover). In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting companys business - solar projects development, construction management and project financing - across Europe and ensuring that our business operations adhere to legal requirements and regulatory standards. You will be responsible for providing expert legal guidance and support across various areas of our business, including administrative/regulatory law; M&A and transactions support; construction and EPC, and projects financing.

As our new colleague you will:
- Ensure accurate, timely and thorough advice to executives and project team members in all project related legal topics (such as revision of documents, contracts, due diligence).
- Close collaboration with management members to ensure efficient operational strategies and lead projects from a legal point of view.
- Act as main contact point and full accountability of further developing internal governance guidelines in order to ensure compliance of the Company.
- Ensure timely information about any potential legal risks and changes.
- Research and evaluate various, sometimes complex risk factors regarding business decisions and operations and ensure timely communication and escalation to and the relevant Companys stakeholders.
- Apply effective risk management and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues.
- Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority, etc.), creating relations of trust.
- Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the Companys full legal rights.
- Deal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders and forces.
- Act in line with Company regulations and upon request as legal representative of Companys official registered locations.
Ideally you have:
- Legal Degree
- Min 6 years experience in project related fast changing legal environment.
- Experience in legal matters related to energy projects as well as familiarity with M&A and Due Diligence.
- Leadership experience, and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Fluent Spanish and English
