Role Overview
A fast-growing, multi-boutique asset management group seeks an experienced Business Development Director to lead fundraising and distribution across French-speaking Europe. The role focuses on expanding the firm''s reach among institutional and professional investors, including private banks, family offices, wealth managers, and independent financial advisers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead capital-raising efforts for various investment funds, including traditional and alternative strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with French-speaking allocators across France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Monaco, and Switzerland.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop a structured business development plan to increase AUM.
- Collaborate with investment, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless client experience and product positioning.
- Represent the firm at conferences, roadshows, and meetings as a knowledgeable and credible voice on fund strategies.
Candidate Profile
- Proven track record in fundraising or fund distribution with a strong network among French-speaking investors.
- Deep understanding of UCITS, alternative fund structures, and European regulations.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and capable of building a regional market independently.
- Native or fluent French speaker with excellent English communication skills.
- Willing to travel extensively within the region.
