A leading main contractor in Cork is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established company delivering high-quality projects across multiple sectors including social housing and civil infrastructure.As a recruiter at V7 Recruitment, I’m looking to speak with candidates who are confident managing site activities from start to finish and are passionate about delivering projects to the highest standards.Ideal Candidate * Proven experience delivering social housing and civil engineering projects in Ireland. * Strong understanding of Irish construction standards, health safety regulations, and Irish Water requirements. * Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage labour, subcontractors, and site logistics. * Detail-oriented, solution-focused, and confident leading on-site teams. * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. * Comfortable liaising with engineers, architects, and stakeholders.Duties Will Include * Overseeing day-to-day operations on live construction sites. * Managing quality control, HS compliance, and subcontractor coordination. * Working closely with the wider project team to meet programme milestones. * Conducting inductions, toolbox talks, and ensuring safe systems of work. * Monitoring progress and reporting back to project leadership. * Ensuring materials, equipment, and labour are available as needed. * Maintaining project documentation and site records. * Coordinating with Irish Water field engineers and managing utility/service installation.Requirements * Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Site Management role. * Strong civils and groundworks background, ideally in residential/social housing. * Good working knowledge of construction materials, methods, and scheduling. * Experience implementing HS and quality procedures. * Excellent communication and leadership skills. * Relevant construction qualifications and Safe Pass certification.Package on Offer * Competitive salary * Private health insurance * Life insurance cover * On-site gym * Wellbeing programme annual health checks * Laptop phone * Long-term career progression within a well-established contractorThis is a brilliant opportunity to join a company that invests in its people and delivers meaningful projects throughout the region.V7 Recruitment are an equal opportunities employer and are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy
