Can you engineer the safe, single-lift installation and removal of massive offshore structures? Join a global team to design, analyse, and support heavy-lift operations, from concept through execution, while ensuring safety, performance, and compliance.
What Youll Do:
- Define structural scope of work, budgets, schedules and lift methodologies for concept, basic and detailed phases.
- Perform hand calculations, structural design studies and FEA simulations (FEMAP) to validate installation/removal aids.
- Develop and document test procedures for lifting/support equipment; review results with project and offshore teams.
- Generate material take-offs and oversee fabrication of project-specific lift aids.
- Evaluate and provide feedback on subcontractor equipment designs and lift methods.
- Provide remote and offshore engineering support during installation/removal campaigns.
- Capture lessons learned and propose enhancements to standards, tools and workflows.
What You Bring:
- BSc/MSc in Civil, Mechanical, Offshore or equivalent Engineering discipline.
- 46 years (Medior) or 7 years (Senior) in structural design for heavy-lift/offshore installations.
- Proficiency with FEA software (e.g., FEMAP).
- Highly organised, proactive, able to work independently and under pressure.
- Willing to travel and work offshore as project demands require.
- Fluent English; additional language skills are a plus.
