YouGov Shopper is a permanent tracking solution that allows FMCG clients and retailers to understand Shopper behavior comprehensively. Our data enables deep insights into Consumer and Shopper knowledge, category and brand performance drivers, purchase behavior diagnosis, and trends analysis. You will work with leading FMCG manufacturers in the Italian market.We are seeking a Data Analytics and Insight Consultant to join our team. The role involves data analysis, interpretation, and delivering insights promptly to clients. Key responsibilities include:Providing various types of insight deliveries to clients.Building solutions that benefit colleagues.Continuously improving data and process quality.Taking initiative to identify and solve problems independently beyond assigned tasks.Specific duties include:Designing appropriate research methodologies.Defining input data for statistical analyses and implementing research designs using languages such as Python, R, SPSS, or SAS.Developing automation mechanisms to enhance quality and reduce errors across teams or divisions.Creating complex analyses on market data for reports or customer requests.Interpreting consumer data and providing analytical insights.Analyzing market data and trends to generate insights for clients.Developing charts, presentations, and reports that address customer questions.Promoting automation processes and developing efficient client deliverables (e.g., Excel, Power BI dashboards, databases, auto-charting).Interacting with clients as an expert in consumer data.You should have:A Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related field.Fluency in English (spoken and written, at least B2).Strong knowledge in Business Intelligence, Strategy, Data Analysis, or similar.Good familiarity with statistical software like Python, SPSS, R, and SAS Base/Guide.Experience with Python libraries for Data Science (numpy, pandas, scikit-learn) and Data Visualization (matplotlib, seaborn, etc.) is a plus.Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau for report and dashboard creation.Advanced Excel skills, including VBA programming, and PowerPoint skills.Experience with BI solutions on cloud platforms (Google Cloud, Azure, AWS) is advantageous.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving.Flexibility and teamwork skills, with ability to meet deadlines.Good communication skills for presenting complex information clearly.Curiosity, open-mindedness, and a focus on team success.Interest or experience in the FMCG industry or research agencies is an advantage.We offer an engaging work environment at Corso Italia, 3, with flexible work arrangements (3 days remote), ongoing training, growth opportunities, and a commitment to confidentiality.
