Our client is an international Corporate &Investment Bank and we are currently looking for an ExecutiveOfficer Trade Finance with a focus on Letters of Credit. r Thecandidate will join the Operations Department and, working closelywith the Head of Department, will be responsible for: - Verifyingwith the Trade Finance Department that each transaction complieswith the banks procedures and the terms of customer facilities,ensuring that all necessary limits and approvals are properly inplace; - Reviewing each individual transaction starting from theinitial receipt, identifying any critical issues in relation to therules, internal procedures, and internal policies, and proposingappropriate solutions to address them; - Handling, verifying andauthorizing all activities related to Import, Export, Back-to-Back,and Stand-by Letters of Credit, including issuance, advising,amendment, document checking, and payment; - Exanimating documentspresented under letters of credit; - Processing internal/externalqueries received by swift, email and telephone to ensure they aredealt with in a timely manner, providing technical expertise whenrequired; - Managing the work received related to inward andoutward clean and documentary collections, as well as activitiesrelated to guarantees, including issuing, amending, and claimingour charges at required periodic intervals; - Providing technicalassistance and guidance to junior staff. Requirements - Degree inEconomics or Law - Previous experience of at least 10-15 yearsgained in trade finance teams of leading international banks -Fluent in English (spoken and written) - Strong knowledge ofletters of credit instruments and related regulations - Greatattention to detail - Strong interpersonal skills and apredisposition for teamwork Lannuncio rivolto ad ambo i sessi(D.lgs n. 198/2006) e nel rispetto di quanto disposto dallart. 10del D.Lgs n. 276/2003.
