We''re actively seeking an experienced Cloud Technical Lead to join our team in Madrid, with a hybrid work model. You will work closely with a DevSecOps team of developers, testers, security experts, and product owner, leveraging cloud technologies and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
What would be your mission within this role? As a Cloud Technical Lead, you will lead internal and outsourced resources, by providing architectural guidance for the development of cloud-based applications and services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective, scalable and reliable solutions that meet business requirements and best coding and cloud practices
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of cloud-based applications and services, using agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Review and approve source code to ensure quality, security, and best practices, providing constructive feedback to team members.
- Act as the Scrum Master for the team, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, ensuring that agile development principles and practices are followed, and removing impediments that are blocking the team''s progress.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable solutions on cloud platforms, using services such as, Lambda, API Gateway, WAF, S3, RDS, CloudFormation.
- Develop and maintain cloud architecture standards, principles, patterns, and best practices, ensuring alignment with business objectives, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other Tech Leads/Scrum Masters to coordinate dependencies and align on best practices for agile development.
- Mentor and coach a team of developers, providing technical guidance, feedback and support to foster a culture of collaboration, learning and growth.
- Follow and improve cloud development and deployment guidelines.
- Collaborate with product owners to understand business requirements, define technical solutions and estimate effort and infrastructure costs.
- Adhere to and help improve the deployment pipeline to support consistent, secure, and automated delivery processes.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices and share knowledge and best practices with the team.
- Collaborate and coordinate writing internal/external technical documentation.

- Bachelor''s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
- +3 years of previous and proven experience in cloud architecture, design, and development, with a focus on cloud-native technologies, and best practices.
- Good level of spoken and written English to work with a global team.
- Proficient in advanced GitLab features, including merge request workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and project/repository management.
- Experience with serverless implementations using AWS API Gateway, Lambda, Fargate, ECR.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing technologies.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable, fault-tolerant, and highly available cloud-based solutions.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, network security, and compliance.
- Experience with code repositories such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab, and with managing code branching and merging strategies.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation, automation tools, pipelines.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
