We are an independent hotel with restaurant, and proud to be part of Aedes, an Amsterdam based property investor and hospitality company. How do we relate? The role

Rise and shine! Yet another day you get to work in one of the most beautiful spots known to the Netherlands at one of the best hospitality experiences around. You look forward to your rewarding (electric) bike ride to work (15 minutes). Once you arrive in Durgerdam, you prepare yourself for the day by having a nice cup of tea or coffee (freshly ground, the good stuff). After your moment of me-time, you join your team as the head chef gives the daily briefing.Throughout the day, you will take charge of supporting the kitchen, ensuring smooth operations, and working alongside the head chef to help manage the team.You will have your hands on the most delicious, high-quality products, showcasing unique cooking techniques. Guests will often pass by the open kitchen, intrigued by your craft and the ingredients youre working with. Youre always ready to share the story behind whats on the plate and help with a little service if needed. The day flies by, and as the kitchen winds down, you help tidy and organize for the next shift. Finally, youll head back home, ready for the next challenge tomorrow.
