OurEmbedded Systems Solutions department (ESS) encompasses allactivities outlined under the Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) processframework, including systems engineering, software engineering,coding, and all levels of functional testing. Beyond coredevelopment, ESS also integrates critical supporting processes suchas project management, risk assessment, functional safety, andcybersecurity, ensuring compliance with ASPICE standards anddelivering reliable, secure, and high-quality embedded systems& solutions. The Role: Our client creates automotive poweradvanced on-board systems that meet consumer demand for automotiveconnectivity. This position is forour clients Automotive Application Engineering Group, which closelycollaborate with its automotive partners and customers from conceptto commercialization. The team involves with all aspects ofEmbedded software such as SW & HW designs, Feature Prototyping,Feature Integration, SW customization, Performance Optimization& Improvement and other debugging efforts which is key for asuccessful launch of the product. This Position is in search for astrong Software Engineer with good knowledge and hands-onexperience in Design/Development/Debugging aspects of Board supportpackage (BSP) on one or more of operating systems like Linux,Android, Greenhills Integrity and QNX embedded systems. Asuccessful candidate will get a chance to work on cutting edgeinfotainment/digital cockpit technologies from leading Automanufacturers and Tier1s and see their commercialization. Area ofResponsibility - Major responsibility is to provide direct supportto our clients customers and partners with the design, developmentand debug of our clients reference designs S/W related issues andhelping to customize/optimize software to meet the productrequirements using the features in our clients SOC. - Candidatemust quickly assimilate onto an existing project, understandAutomotive platform Hardware and Software driver architecture,read/write technical specifications/requirements, demonstratestrong analytical and problem-solving abilities and work closelywith external customers to customize and launch their new products.Knowledge / Experience - Good Software Applications Engineering,Software Development experience, or related work experience. - Gooddevelopment or debugging experience with High level operatingsystems (Linux and Android) - Very solid experience with embeddedsoftware development, Device driver development, debugging. -Experience with C/C++ programming and modern scripting languages. -Generic understanding the boot process and system architecture ofARM Cortex-A/X based SoC systems, including topics like MMU/SMMU,virtualisation and ARM TrustZone - Excellent issue triage anddebugging skills with complex system level issues. - An intrinsicdesire for systematic working and ability to deliver high qualityresults in a stressful environment. - Good communication andexcellent teamwork skills. - Ability get recognised in a smallcross-functional team and mentoring junior team members intechnical topics. - Experience with serial peripherals like UART,SPI, I2C, PCIe on hardware and software aspects - Experience withinterfaces like USB, Ethernet, CSI, DSI or HDMI. - Experience anddebugging linux kernel crashes , Android framework crashes -Experience with Android upgrades, Android HAL - Experience withLinux kernel.
