Robert Half Talent Solution is currently looking for a Head of Legal specialized in Real Estate law for a client, a prominent actor in the real estate sector in Antwerp.

Position Overview:
As Head of Legal you will oversee all legal matters of the company, ensuring legal security and compliance. This strategic yet hands-on role involves managing a team of (senior) legal counsels while at the same time also directly handling yourself the most complex and high-stakes projects and transactions.
You will be a key business partner, part of the executive management.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management & Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of (senior) legal counsels.
- Organize workloads, set priorities, and foster continuous development of team members.
- Ensure high-quality legal support across the organization.
Operational Legal Support
- Personally manage legal aspects of complex and/or strategically critical transactions and projects (e.g., large-scale developments, M&A''s, joint ventures, high-value acquisitions).
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts (acquisition agreements, construction contracts, partnership agreements, etc.).
- Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks and mitigation strategies.
Corporate & Regulatory Affairs
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage relationships with external experts.
- Oversee corporate governance matters.
Risk Management & Strategy
- Identify potential legal risks and propose proactive solutions.
- Contribute to business strategy with legal insight and support the structuring of new ventures.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of experience in the real estate legal sector.
- Experience in people management.
- Trilingual: Dutch (proficient), French (very good), English (very good).
- Business-oriented, leader, hands-on, proactive, and resourceful, capable of taking ownership, organized.
