Job Title: Raw Material Buyer Department: ShoesBusiness Unit Permanent contract Job Description: The PositionBased in Italy, the Footwear Production and Raw Materials Manageris responsible for planning footwear production, frompre-purchasing raw materials and reserving capacity withmanufacturers to delivering finished products to the logisticscenter in Spain. Key Responsibilities: - He or she works closelywith the industrial team to plan and schedule the production basedon the conformity process validation - Involved in problem-solving,he or she will need to draw on the skills and expertise of internaland external players, including manufacturers - In this role, thecandidate coordinates the purchasing and sourcing of components& raw materials from suppliers with the shoe manufacturers - Inaddition, support production team in managing the quality,compliance with Loewe specifications and compliance withinternational regulations of purchased materials in collaborationwith the development team and the quality team - Be involved in thepre-purchase and risk purchasing processes to ensure the time tomarket Qualifications: - 5 years of experience in Footwear, withina Brand or manufacturer significantly developed structure withefficient organisation - Technical or business managementbackground preferred, 4 years in Production or in industrializationor supply chain management - Willing to build something of his /her own, setting-up and animating quality process and proceduresincl. KPIs management - Drive improvement plans with internal andexternal partners - Leadership, excellent communication - AcademicBackground: Engineering, science degree or business administrationdegree. Other education profiles may be considered depending on thebackground of the candidate - Languages required: Italian mothertongue or bilingual. English, fluent C1, mandatory and proven.French is a plus - IT systems mindset. ERP, Portal & TMS -Developed analytical and Excel skills, knowledge of PowerBi andOffice 365 tools, used to work with large data sheets and dashboardmanagement.
