The Network Engineer is a crucial figure for the design and security of industrial networks, with the aim of ensuring secure and efficient communication between control systems. The position requires advanced technical skills, problem-solving skills, and a methodical approach to configuring and securing complex networks.
Main Activities Responsibilities:
Following the Manager''s instructions, the Network Engineer is responsible for:
Network Configuration: Design and configure industrial networks, ensuring secure segmentation and routing.
Network Security: Implement security measures in accordance with ISA99/IEC 62443 and IEC 61508 standards.
Diagnostics and Resolution: Identify and resolve network issues in complex environments.
Collaboration: Work with engineering and cybersecurity teams to ensure network integrity.
Documentation: Create technical reports related to network configuration and security.
Skills and Requirements
Technical Skills:
Experience in industrial network configuration and segmentation.
Knowledge of ISA99/IEC 62443 and IEC 61508 standards.
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols.
Transversal skills:
Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly.
Predisposition to teamwork and collaboration.
Attitudes:
Methodical and detail-oriented approach.
Commitment to maintaining the integrity and security of networks.

Experiences:
Previous experience in setting up secure industrial networks.
Direct involvement in network segmentation and security projects.
