Position Title: General Neurologist Purpose &Scope: The physician is a member of the healthcare team who worksin collaboration with other staff to provide comprehensivehealthcare services to patients. The scope of practice of eachphysician is defined through the health systems credentialing andprivileging committee. The Physician supports objectives, budget,and performance metrics at the individual level. Supports allmedical activities at the individual level including implementationof quality control standards, risk management, and complianceprograms. The role of a physician is to provide quality clinicalcare to those individuals who have chosen VHC Health in a timelymanner to meet the needs of our patients. Requirements: Boardeligibility (active candidacy) or certification in Neurology; thecompletion of an appropriate residency program. Completion ofMedical Doctorate (MD) or Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) isrequired.
