Java Developer/DevOps engineer

For one of our teams within a government organization, we are looking for a candidate for a DevOps team for the (further) development of an application based on Java technology.

You will be part of a DevOps team that works on the modernization of applications on the (cloud) platform. The activities are diverse and vary from developing code, ensuring integration, testing, coordinating with POs and architects and automating the DevOps processes. In addition, it is important that you see the importance of collaborating with other DevOps teams.

Required experience and skills:

• 4-5+ years of experience with Java.
• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Camel, API, Integration, Front End (for example Angular or React).
• Willingness to develop skills in (for example) Kotlin and/or Quarkus.
• DevOps minded: Scrum, DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing.
• You are willing to work in a team for a longer period of time and help develop the team.
• You have a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written, but English is also no problem for you.
