A growing and independent service provider based in Luxembourg is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join its experienced team. Located in the area of Gasperich, this position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of Private Equity and Real Estate investment structures, in a human-sized yet international environment.
The firm specializes in alternative - real estate and private equity fund structures, managing clients across Europe. This firm is a well-established Luxembourgish structure, professional, and strong work culture, with flat hierarchies and excellent visibility across the business.
Senior Fund Accountant - Responsibilities
- Manage and review the full accounting cycle for a portfolio of PE/RE fund structures and their underlying SPVs (Holdings/SOPARFI/Securitization/PE.RE).
- Supervise NAV calculations, investor reports, and statutory financial statements under Lux GAAP.
- Coordinate with internal teams (fund admin, portfolio management, risk, tax,..) and external stakeholders (auditors, lawyers,..).
- Oversee the audit process and support in regulatory reporting (CSSF, BCL).
- Mentor junior accountants, provide technical guidance, and ensure quality and deadlines are met.
Senior Fund Accountant - Your Profile:
- 3 to 6 years of experience in fund accounting, ideally with PE/RE structures.
- Strong knowledge of Lux GAAP; IFRS is a plus.
- Prior experience with SAP or similar accounting software.
- Fluent in English; French atmosphere.
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
- Team player with a proactive attitude and a client-oriented approach.
