My Client is seeking a QA / QC Engineer (contract role) for an immediate start to support their ongoing projects. This is a great opportunity to join an established oil & gas company with an impressive pipeline of work.Contract term - 12 months ongoingYour role will involve, but not be limited to :General QA / QC activities on structures, piping, heat exchangers and pressure vessels fabrication.Follow-up of Anomaly Reports and Non-Conformities closure.Support in Quality Control Plan (Inspection and Test Plans) review & follow up.Support in Welding Book review & follow up.Monitor all quality related activities on the project.Attend client quality management meetings.Monitor the disposition of all issued non-conformance reports.Coordinate all QA / QC activities with the site QA / QC manager.Coordinate all QA / QC activities with the site Construction manager.You will be required to hold :Bachelor degree in mechanical or metallurgy, preferred.10+ years demonstrable experience which must include Client side and E&P experienceExperience in steel structures, piping, pressure vessels and fabricationExperience of managing vendorsFamiliarity with International codes (Welding / NDT inspection etc)Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP), preferredISO 9001 lead auditor.Professional levels of English language skills requiredFull Italian or European working rights requiredQuality Assurance Lombardy, Italy, Italy#J-18808-Ljbffr
