Job Description:Our client is a multinational company leader in the distribution of products and services for retailers in Europe. It has a long history of innovation, is listed on the stock market, and has a sound financial base. We are recruiting a Senior HR Business Partner for this company, based in Rome, Italy, with 50% travel.Role: The Senior HRBP will report to the HR Director Italy and manage a team of two HRBPs. They will serve as the point of contact for Directors, Managers, and HR colleagues to facilitate the entire employee lifecycle, delivering effective HR operations. The role involves shaping, developing, and delivering HR processes aligned with company needs, acting as the departmental HR expert, and supporting staff and managers.Responsibilities:Respond to employee and manager inquiries, manage grievance matters, and investigate serious issues.Manage relations with local employee representative bodies and handle labor relations and complex cases, integrating legislative changes into HR policies.Support business transformation initiatives and collaborate with leaders on organizational development.Supervise Health & Safety matters in coordination with designated roles.Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, training, and development activities, ensuring timely and quality hiring processes.Manage performance reviews, salary reviews, and succession planning in partnership with management.Provide policy guidance, interpret HR policies, and recommend necessary changes.Ensure efficient HR administration and leverage reports to analyze HR and business metrics.Lead and develop junior HRBPs, and work with other HR teams on complex projects and change initiatives.Requirements:Minimum 10 years of HR Business Partner or related experience, including at least 5 years in people management within multinational organizations.Proficient knowledge of employment and labor laws.Experience in warehouse environments and working across diverse cultures and employment practices.Masters degree in HR, Business Administration, Law, or equivalent; a Master in HR is a plus.Fluent in English and proficient in Office Suite.Strong leadership, project management, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently, under pressure, and meet demanding deadlines.#J-18808-Ljbffr
