Job Description: We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in RD and 3D design to join our engineering team. You will play a key role in developing new mechanical products and systems, from concept to prototype and final implementation. Key Responsibilities: Participate in the full product development cycle: concept, design, prototyping, testing, and validation. Use 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or similar) to develop detailed designs and assemblies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing partners. Conduct research into new materials, technologies, and engineering approaches to improve product performance. Prepare documentation, technical drawings, and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Support testing and troubleshooting of prototypes and finished products. Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 3+ years of experience in RD and mechanical product development. Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or equivalent). Hands-on experience with prototyping and mechanical testing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus. Based in or willing to relocate to Arnhem. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with FEA or CFD simulation tools. Familiarity with additive manufacturing or rapid prototyping techniques. Experience working in an agile or iterative development environment.
