As Senior Indirect Tax Accountant within Sanofi Business Operations. This role requires excellent accounting knowledge and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders effectively.

Main responsibilities
- Prepare VAT returns, Intrastat and EC sales reports
- Reconcile tax accounts
- Participate in corporate income tax preparation
- Manage external relations
- Address operational issues and follow through to resolution in an effective and timely manner
- Deliver, monitor operational KPIs and comply with Sanofi policies and guidelines
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
About you
Experience
- Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a similar field
- Good and proven experience in GL/TAX accounting preferably in an international multicultural environment
- Hands on expertise in corporate tax accounting and activities
- Good business acumen
- Strong problem solving, deductive and analytical skills
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles
Soft and technical skills
- Ability to interact with internal clients in a professional manner
- Self-motivated, well organized, hard-working, detail-minded, clear thinker, quick learner
- Well-inclined towards change and has the ability to work under pressure
- Team player, able to work collaboratively transversally and with front line teams with an end-to-end mindset
- Solid knowledge of SAP and Excel
- Hands-on experience of SAP Accounting Modules and other accounting related IT tools (e.g., Trintech Cadency, Blackline, etc.)
- Familiarity with IFRS
Languages
- Fluent in English and French language
