We are looking for an Indirect Procurement Specialist to join our Procurement Team based in KONE Italy, Pero (MI).KONE Italy is part of KONE, a leader in the elevator and escalator industry. We provide industry-leading elevators, escalators, doors, and innovative solutions for maintenance and modernization.The Procurement Team supports the business by involving the best suppliers in terms of quality, timely delivery, and price. We assist from the tender phase through to the final implementation of customer orders.The Position:The Indirect Procurement Specialist supports, develops, and executes procurement plans in collaboration with local operations. The role involves identifying local opportunities, managing supplier relationships and tenders, including contract negotiations and price analysis, with the goal of optimizing costs and mitigating risks.Key Responsibilities:Procurement Planning & Execution: Develop and implement procurement plans aligned with local operational needs and global objectives.Supplier Relationship Management: Identify opportunities, manage relationships, and oversee tenders to ensure competitive and transparent processes.Negotiations & Cost Optimization: Conduct contract negotiations and perform price analyses to optimize costs, reduce risks, and ensure quality and compliance.Strategy & Project Leadership: Lead or support the rollout of local and global procurement strategies and projects.Indirect Procurement Management: Oversee procurement and operational management of categories such as Car Fleet, ICT, Professional Services, and Travel, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business needs.Requirements:Educational Background: Bachelor/Master''s degree in Economics or High School Diploma.Professional Experience: 6+ years in a matrix and international organization.Fluency in Italian and English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.Strong negotiation and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Knowledge of indirect procurement categories, including Car Fleet, Travel, ICT, and Facilities Professional Services.Organizational and project management skills.Effective communication and stakeholder/supplier management skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Proactive attitude focused on continuous improvement and innovation.Proficiency in IT tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, MS Office, SAP).Confidentiality, trust, and integrity.At KONE, we foster an innovative and collaborative culture, valuing each individual''s contribution.
