About the Role: Beontag is looking for aproactive and hands-on Planning Specialist to join our team inBologna, working within our DTE division, which developsaward-winning RFID tags and other advanced IoT solutions. AsPlanning Specialist, you will play a central part in drivingproduction forward, with a direct impact on how and when ourproducts come to life. Youll take ownership of planning essentialmanufacturing processes, stages where technology and precision cometogether. From ensuring raw materials are in place to coordinatingschedules that minimise downtime, your work will help keepoperations smooth, efficient, and responsive. A typical day mayinvolve reviewing production capacity and material availability,fine-tuning plans based on customer demand, and working closelywith Production, Logistics, and Quality teams to align activitiesand priorities. Your input will be essential to achieving on-timedelivery, improving machine setup efficiency, and supporting a moreagile and connected supply chain. How Youll Make an Impact: -Develop and maintain production plans based on customer orders anddemand forecasts, in line with available capacity. - Analyseforecast data, inventory levels of finished products and rawmaterials, and production lead times to optimise planningstrategies and provide both short- and long-term visibility ofrequirements. - Collaborate with teams across Production,Quality/R&D, Logistics, Purchasing, and Customer Service/Salesto ensure alignment and deliver customer-focused results. - Monitorkey performance indicators (KPIs) and operational performance,identifying areas for improvement. - Manage disruptions such asdelays, material shortages, or fluctuations in demand. - UseERP/MRP systems effectively to plan, track, and manage raw materialsupply and related activities. - Prepare and share regular reports,providing clear insights and recommendations to management. WhatMakes You a Great Fit: - A degree in Industrial Engineering,Economics, Logistics, or a related field - 12 years of experiencein a similar planning or supply chain role - Proficiency withplanning tools such as ERP/MRP systems, BI platforms, Oracle,advanced Excel, and the Microsoft Office suite - Strong analyticalthinking and problem-solving skills - Excellent communicationskills and a collaborative mindset - A good working knowledge ofEnglish Reporting Line: This role will report directly to thePlanning and Logistics Manager. Location: This role will be basedat our plant in Bologna, Castel Maggiore.
