Tecnimont Services is one of the key players withinMAIRE groups Integrated E&C Solutions, focused on championingthe Groups decarbonization and energy transition initiatives.Subcontract Administration Manager has to ensure the performance ofthe subcontracting activities, in accordance with ConstructionSubcontracting Procedure and Project specific procedures (forexample Project Execution Plan, Construction Execution Plan, MainContract Constraint and List of Back-to-Back Principles, etc). Hewill ensure that Subcontracts performances are carefully monitoredin terms of schedule, quality and cost, and he will coordinate allnecessary recovery actions whenever detect deviation from scheduleor specifications under the guidance of Construction manager. Mainactivities and responsibilities: - Prepare, get approvals and issuethe Project Construction Subcontracting Procedure (if any), theSubcontracting Plan and Strategy, the Project Subcontractors Listand the Bidder List; - Coordinate and guarantee the process ofverification of the clearness, completeness and consistency withSubcontract Documents of the WS from Construction Engineering,WRs/QPLs from Technical Disciplines and availability ofConstruction Schedules and Budgets from Project Control; ensure thereview of the documents, as appropriate, also notifying the ProjectDirector/Project Manager of any delay; - Take care of all theactivities functional to the issue of the Inquiries tosubcontractors, including obtainment of the confidentialityagreements duly signed, preparation of Instruction to Bidders andSubcontract Documentation, expedite the answers of Subcontractorsand log the status of the tenders; - Perform the bids openingprocedure in accordance with Project Subcontracting Procedure andexamine the relevant Contractual section of the receivedquotations; - Ensure the distribution of the information receivedfrom the Subcontractors to the relevant Functions for theirspecific analyses (in particular: unpriced quotations to theFunctions involved in the TBE; deviation of commercial terms andconditions to Contract Management, Procurement, Legal, GroupFinance; financial information to Group Planning & Control forthe Financial Bid Evaluation), tracking the related results; -Guarantee the different phases of the Economic Bids Evaluationrefinement, from the preliminary Bid Evaluation, through theintermediate, until the Final Economic Bid Evaluation, chairing therelated evaluation processes and clarification meetings withsubcontractors, as well as maintaining the offer continuouslyupdated; - Issue the Subcontracts taking care of getting all theapprovals and authorized signature, managing also the relateddistribution to the relevant Functions/Contractors; - Ensure theupdate of an archive of technical and commercial data related toSubcontracts, to be used for the preparation of future subcontractactivities; - Assist Subcontracts Administration Management in theresolution of claims or clarification on Subcontract SpecialClauses interpretation, if required; - Assist, as required,Construction Proposals during the construction estimating process(subcontractor selection, obtaining quotations, negotiations ofprices and terms and condition in case of "Pre-Award Agreements");- Keep Subcontracts Administration Manager, PD/PM and theResponsible of Subcontracting informed of all critical areas andrecommend corrective actions. Knowledge & Qualifications: -University Degree in relevant discipline Experience: - Relevantexperience in construction/modernization of industrial sector/ EPCprojects/Oil & Gas - At least 3 years of experience in contractadministration and/or quantity surveyor. - Experience working onContractor side. Skills and Abilities: - Fluent English; - MS Excelfor accounting and reporting - Excellent communications,team-oriented and interpersonal skills - Attention to details; -Self-motivation and direction, with a strong bias toward timelyperformance and problem resolution.
