Albert Bow have partnered with a leading global trading firm who are seeking a Senior C++ Developer to join its trading systems team. This firm operates on major exchanges worldwide and is a top player in the HFT, market making and liquidity provision. Responsibilities
- Work closely with Quant Researchers to develop and optimise trading systems across various markets.
- This is a hands-on role that requires strong problem-solving skills, deep technical expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience as a C++ developer.
- Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++17 and newer).
- Deep understanding of computer systems, including operating systems, networks, and performance optimisation.
- Expertise in Linux.
- Experience working with complex architecture and high-load systems.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- A strong desire to learn and share knowledge with the team.
Nice to Have
- Experience developing low-latency trading systems.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Knowledge of network stack (L1, L2, TCP, UDP).
- Understanding of modern x86-x64 architecture.
- Experience in competitive programming contests (e.g., IOI, ICPC, HashCode) or CTF challenges.
