We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Process Optimization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our optimization team, you will be responsible for implementing Real Time Optimization (RTO) applications and participating in new online modeling projects. Your expertise in chemical engineering and process simulation will enable you to analyze and understand process simulation results, identify areas for improvement, and develop solutions to optimize plant performance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in control engineering or chemical engineering, with experience in simulating distillation towers, compressors, and expanders. You should also possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and be proficient in using computers and computer applications. Fluency in English is required, and additional languages such as German, French, and Russian are a plus.
In this role, you will work closely with the optimization team to improve the quality and timeliness of implementation projects. Your ability to solve complex problems and think critically will be essential in identifying opportunities for process optimization and developing strategies to implement them.
