For one of our clients active in the Energy sector inBelgium, we are looking for an Electricity designer to join theirdepartment responsible for the engineering of all infrastructureprojects relating to the development, extension and renovation ofthe 36 to 380 Kv electricity transmission network. As anElectricity Designer (low-voltage), you will be responsible forSecondary Systems studies relating to electrical protection,control and command, automation and measurement equipment for HighVoltage installations on the electricity network. Resposibilitiesinclude Assist the Project Manager in the feasibility or pre-studyphase of the project During the design phase, prepare and carry outdesign and detail studies, in particular Organising and managingthe planning of your studies in terms of priorities anddeliverables Drawing up protection block diagrams and detailedprinciple diagrams Participate in the definition and choice ofequipment Ensuring the quality of the studies by using approvedequipment and in accordance with Elia''s standards andmethodologies, etc. Evaluating and specifying the standards for thespecific case to be studied Checking the quality of detailedstudies carried out externally Ensuring that manufacturers''documents are checked Participate, as required, in factoryacceptance tests for electrical equipment During the constructionphase, to assist the Project Manager in monitoring low-voltage workon site, i.e. Ensuring contact with the operator, suppliers andelectrical installation companies in his/her speciality Interveningand providing solutions in the event of design or implementationproblems on site Participate, as required, in site meetings dealingwith technical aspects, as well as site tests and commissioning ofinstallations At the end of the project, carry out the debriefingon the Lv studies and ensure that the diagrams are As BuiltRequirements Degree/bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience inelectricity, electronics or automation. Knowledge of Windows Officeapplications Very good knowledge of Dutch and/or French, andEnglish Knowledge of AutoCAD is an asset You are keen to invest inlearning a trade that will eventually require a high level ofspecific expertise You have good planning and organisational skillsand a sense of responsibility You are assertive Quality-oriented,you are also rigorous and precise in your work
