As a global leader in metal packaging technology, our client is renowned for designing and manufacturing a diverse range of innovative, sustainable metal packaging solutions.They are seeking a strategic, results-driven, and negotiation-savvy Sourcing and Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing of tinplate materials for their operations. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with the capability to build and maintain supplier and stakeholder relationships.Experience with ERP systems and e-bidding / RFQ tools is strongly preferred.Organize and manage bidding activities via procurement platforms, including the preparation of Requests for Quotation (RFQs), evaluation of offers, and collection of cost information in the market.Source and qualify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities.Manage supplier relationships, including negotiating contracts, pricing & terms, overseeing claims, and steering R&D projects.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement aligns with business needs and specifications.Oversee the preparation and execution of purchase orders.Identify opportunities for process improvements within the procurement function.Maintain accurate procurement records, analyze procurement performance, and report key metrics to senior management.Develop market intelligence and provide insights on supplier capabilities, competition, and trends.Able to work autonomously, a self-starter who is proactive and results-oriented.Strong organizational and time management skills, able to prioritize effectively.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends to drive decision-making; capable of speaking with data and problem-solving.Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of clearly conveying ideas to both internal and external stakeholders.Proven ability to operate successfully cross-functionally.Strong cross-cultural awareness, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and suppliers from different regions.Flexible, adaptable, and open to change and new challenges.Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel, etc.).Fluent in English; fluency in Spanish is a strong advantage.Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).3+ years of experience in international procurement or sourcing management.Location: PARMA#J-18808-Ljbffr
