Your Next Opportunity Awaits We are looking for a Warehouse Sales Manager for Maasvlakte Rotterdam ,
Find new customers for bonded and non-bonded warehouse services to fulfill the target amount of operational income.
Promote value-added services such as fulfillment, packaging, labeling, and e-commerce logistics.
Require rates and capacities from all types of suppliers to optimize offers.
Deliver quotations for warehouse and distribution inquiries from customers and freight forwarders.
Schedule weekly meetings with the warehouse sales team.
Enter all customer and inquiry-related data into the CRM system.
Work on market trends and analysis to define target markets.
Develop and implement weekly, monthly, and yearly sales strategies.
Manage a group of warehouse sales executives.
Prepare sales reports and attend meetings and events scheduled by the company.
Ensure smooth handover of new business to the operations team with full documentation.
Participate in annual budget planning and work proactively to achieve realistic sales targets in alignment with team and company goals .
Proven sales experience in warehousing, fulfillment, or logistics (minimum 5 years).
Strong understanding of customer needs in warehouse and distribution operations.
Hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of the Dutch local market and customer expectations.
Knowledge of bonded and non-bonded warehousing, inventory control, and value-added services.
Experience in pricing, contract negotiation, and customer onboarding.
Ability to guide and support the sales team in performance and skills development.
Good computer skills and proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM tools.
Fluency in both Dutch and English is mandatory. Knowledge of an additional language is a strong advantage.
Familiarity with Incoterms and warehouse-related operational KPIs is a plus.
