About the Role
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements, translating them into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring the development team delivers maximum value.
- Develop a clear product vision and roadmap, aligned with business objectives and market trends.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the development team, providing clarity on requirements and addressing queries promptly.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
- Monitor product performance and customer feedback, using insights to inform future development.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the utilities sector.
What makes you a great fit?
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within the utilities sector (energy, water, gas, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum or SAFe frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear deliverables.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with technologies and platforms relevant to the utilities industry, such as SAP, field service management, asset management, smart metering, etc
- A proactive attitude and a passion for driving sustainability and innovation in utilities.

What we are looking for:
- Master''s degree in a business economics, business engineering or technology-oriented field (ICT, business analytics, engineering, computer science)
- Proven experience in Utilities sector, specifically as a Project manager of Product Owner in an IT-implementation project in utilities is a plus.
- Minimum 4 to 6 years working experience.
- Affinity with ERP (SAP ECC or S4, SAP IS-U, Salesforce is a plus.
- Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with working with JIRA or Azure Devops
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Perfectly fluent in English, Dutch (native!).
