We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join a project that we''re developing for one of our key industrial clients. The role is primarily remote, but occasional on-site meetings in Helsinki will be required to stay aligned with the project team and stakeholders.
- Position: Data Scientist - min 5 years of experience
- Allocation: Full-time (100%)
- Location: Remote, with occasional visits to the customers office in Finland
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Duration: Until the end of 2025 + possible extension for next 12 months
- Predictive analytics and forecasting models
- Time series analysis and modeling
- Working with AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform
- Development and deployment of machine learning models MLOps practices, including model versioning, monitoring, and scaling in production environments
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R and experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
- Expertise in using Databricks for data science workflows, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation.
- Previous experience working in remote-first setups and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Data Engineers, DevOps) would be highly beneficial.
- 5+ years epierience.
