JobOverview We are seeking an experienced and qualified corporatelawyer under French law to join our team (Purchasing legal team).The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experiencepossibly in legal department of multinational companies or inalternative, in international law firms, with a strong focus onprocurement, supply chain and related contracts and litigation (experience in consumer law and ICT is a plus). KeyResponsibilities: This individual will be responsible for providingday by day legal advise to the management balancing business needs,problem solving, ensuring compliance with law and protecting theCompany and will be part of Enlarged Europe Purchasing legal team ;- drafting and negotiating cross border contracts/transactions withsuppliers handling autonomously negotiations related to purchaseswith a particular emphasis on auotomotive components/productssupply ( ensuring that intellectual property rights and quality andsafety of the products are appropriately protected in thecontractual relationship with suppliers) and service contracts,settlement of disputes, logistic, transports contract; - Providinglegal opinions and advice on contract law with main focus on (butnot sole) French laws and EU Directives. - Collaborating with theprocurement and supply chain teams to address legal issues relatedto supplier relationships and contractual obligations. - managingFrench litigations with suppliers (breach of contract for lack ofdelivery, safety and quality problems etc.) - management of troublesuppliers issues including insolvency/bankruptcy procedures. -.technology licensing and ICT agreements are considered a plus.Qualifications: - Qualified French Attorney at Law with a minimumof 10 years of experience in the above described fields possiblyalready knowledgeable of the automotive industry. French mothertongue and English fluent; German and/or Italian languages are aplus -Ability to work independently, provide strategic legaladvice, and manage complex legal matters. - Excellent communicationskills, both written and verbal; - Strong negotiation skills andthe ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams andexternal partners - ability to work under pressure and tighttimeline Preferred Skills: - Experience working in an internationalcorporate environment. - Familiarity with cross-bordertransactions, legal issues and regulations, especially in theprocurement/industrial sectors.
