Toensure effective communication with clients and other hoteldepartments to enable the smooth operation of in-house functionswith a team spirit____________________________________________________________________Daily Duties To actively seeking opportunities on local marketand prospect the customers Build and promote strong, long-lastingcustomer relationships by partnering with them To handle andco-ordinate all confirmed meetings, events, gala dinners, specialevents (weddings, family reunions, non-residential events etc.). To achieve budgeted revenues in Sales, Conference and Banqueting inkeeping with the annual budget and marketing plan To coordinateall functions bookings, as per bookings procedures, SOPs. Tohandle and co-ordinate all enquiries for events in the hotelsfunction rooms, food, and beverage areas To attend and holdpre-service briefings for daily events To ensure that allenquiries are responded on the same day for Italian enquiries andwithin 24 hours for international enquiries and to co-ordinate thesending out of all function proposals To handle work allocationsin an efficient manner, ensuring that standards and guestexpectations are maintained To ensure that all group bookingshave valid option dates and that the proposals are actively chasedprior to or on the option date, as directed To ensure that therequired lay-out of all function rooms are maintained throughoutevents in accordance with hotel standards To efficiently manageOpera PMS to ensure that all information is complete, accurate andupdated To send out event proposals, contracts, confirm billingarrangements and deposit requirements as per terms and conditions To issue Business Event Orders by appropriate day of the week priorto event, as directed and to attend and lead BEO weekly meetings Promptly issue any late additions and amendments, as directed Tohave a working knowledge of all hotel facilities and prices andhotels primary competition To ensure accurate billing To attendmeetings internal or with clients, as assigned by superior manager.
