Overview Join our innovative squads as a Mid-level Developer, where you will play a pivotal role in thedevelopment and optimization of Database automation. This squad provides, automates andmanages most databases in the consortium. This includes Oracle DB and PostgreSQL.If you are experienced in Python, PL/SQL, Jenkins, Ansible, and have a good Oracle DB andPostgreSQL knowledge, we invite you to be a key contributor to these subjects. ResponsibilitiesSoftware Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions to enhance database automationsWithin the squad:Collaborate with team members to write efficient, reusable, and maintainable codeContribute to the continuous improvement of existing services by identifying opportunities for optimizationAutomation and Orchestration:Utilize PL/SQL, Jenkins, Ansible, and scripting skills to automate the deployment and analysis of codeImplement automated workflows to streamline deployment, configuration, and monitoring tasksCollaboration:Work closely with cross-functional team members, including architects, network engineers, system administrators, and other developers, to ensure seamless integration and interoperabilityParticipate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews, to foster effective collaboration within the squadEngage in knowledge-sharing activities and contribute to the collective expertise of the teamDocumentation:Document code, scripts, and configurations thoroughly to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer within the squadContribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for the squad Qualifications Technical skillsProficiency in Python, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, Ansible, Jenkins, and PL/SQLExperience with CI/CD principles and practicesExperience with GitLab would be a plus Experience:Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a developer, with a strong background in database managementProven track record of working in a collaborative and agile development environment Soft Skills:Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersProactive attitude with a strong commitment to continuous learning and improvementEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field RequirementsEU citizenshipFluency in English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in any other European language is a plus
