Amazon is innovating in the Operations and Logisticsspace and looking for a driven, entrepreneurial, and analytical KeyAccount Manager for Italy. We are looking for an account managerwho will be excited by working in a new start-up environment andwill have familiarity with leading B2B sales generation workingwith both large customers. The successful Senior Account Managerwill be comfortable navigating ambiguity and operating in astart-up environment. You will have experience developingrelationships across a diverse customer base, drive commercialgrowth for the business and work effectively with functional areassuch as Business, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and IT and hasa proven track record of meeting and exceeding program goals andrevenue targets. Key job responsibilities - Own strategy andcommercial growth for customers - Drive revenue, adoption, andmarket segment share for our product with key prioritization andidentified trade-offs - Earn trust of customers (shippers) andrecommend product solutions that fit their business needs meetingexceeding targets for customer and/or feature spend adoption -Measure performance, articulate root-cause analysis, and link tospecific improvement areas - Relay market needs and requirementsback to internal Amazon teams - Analyze current purchasingprocesses and evaluate opportunities for solutions to improve enduser experiences, reduce costs, and accelerate organizationperformance - Drive and accelerate spend adoption through advisingcustomers on best practices for using our product - Assess programrisks, anticipate challenges, and provide escalation managementwhen necessary This role will be based in Milan with possiblemoderate travel (maximum 25%).- Extensive experience in accountmanagement, sales, management consulting, or roles with similarlybroad scope Bachelor degree or equivalent, preferably in abusiness-related subject such as Business Administration, BusinessEngineering or Business Information Strong business acumen, aswell as communication and negotiation skills Proven quantitativeanalytical capability and project management skills in addition tobeing customer focused, excellent attention to detail and able toeffectively prioritize and multi-task Successful candidates willhave proven experience in developing original ideas, approaches,and solutions to typical, unusual, or difficult situations in acompetitive and ever changing business climate Familiarity withExcel and knowledge of databases or CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce)Demonstrated experience in helping to develop others on your teamand scaling best practices Entrepreneurial background with provenability to deal with ambiguity, pivot quickly, adapt to newprocesses and drive local initiatives Amazon is an equalopportunities employer.
