We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a Head of Group Accounting Medical Device Sector (German Speaking). The role is a permanent position based in Bern Canton & comes with some office flexibility.Your Role: Responsible for external reporting in accordance with Swiss GAAP FER (half-year and annual financial statements) for a listed company Further development and provision of monthly and quarterly reports for the attention of the Group's Executive Board and Board of Directors Responsible for the consolidation process Standard-setter and point of contact for accounting issues throughout the Group Define, maintain and ensure compliance with the Financial Guidelines (Accounting, ICS) as well as possible collaboration on other financial topics of the Group (Treasury, Internal Audit, M&A) Preparation of ad-hoc evaluations and analyses Participation in sustainable improvement and digitization of financial processes Responsibility for tax issues at group level (e.g. transfer pricing) Leadership of the Group Accounting Team Contact person for group auditors Participation in group projects Collaboration in non-financial reportingYour Skills: At least 7 years of overall relevant professional experience including at least 3 years in Group Accounting or Auditing. Skilled & experienced in external reporting in accordance with Swiss GAAP FER (half-year & annual financial statements) for a listed company. Preferably experienced in Large Global International companies. Ideally skilled & experienced in Leading Teams. Any knowledge of BI tools &/or consolidation software (e.g. Cognos) is considered advantageous.Your Profile: Completed relevant University Degree in the areas of Auditing, Accounting & Controlling or similar. Open-minded, analytical, well-structured, self-motivated, goal-oriented & a team player. Fluent English & business proficient German language skills are a mandatory requirements.
