Technical Business Analyst Hague (or as alternative Oslo) About the Role Our client is seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst with experience in telecommunications domains to support the delivery of next-generation connectivity solutions for clients. This role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, and technical delivery squads, ensuring that solutions are aligned with customer needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility. Key Responsibilities Gather and analyse business and technical requirements for maritime connectivity and communication services, including but not limited to VSAT, LTE, SD-WAN, and onboard IT systems. Collaborate closely with product managers, solution architects, network engineers, and customer-facing teams to translate business needs into clear technical specifications and user stories. Support the end-to-end lifecycle of our clients network and digital solutionsfrom concept and design to implementation and customer onboarding. Define and document process workflows, use cases, interface requirements, data flows, and integration points between systems (e.g., provisioning platforms, billing systems, monitoring tools). Lead and participate in stakeholder workshops, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and solution design sessions. Coordinate with engineering and development teams on backlog prioritization, testing, and feature validation. Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), system integration testing (SIT), and troubleshooting during deployment and post-launch phases. Monitor solution performance post-launch and provide insights into continuous improvement opportunities. Assist with setting up user and product analytics for solution delivery and defining KPIs for measuring the usability of digital solutions. Managing 3rd party integrations with the tools used by Company network and digital solutions. Qualifications Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Systems, or related field. Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a telecom, maritime, or technology-focused environment. Understanding of satellite communications (VSAT), terrestrial networks (4G/5G/LTE), SD-WAN, and maritime operations is highly desirable. Strong skills in requirement elicitation, technical documentation, data analysis, and process modelling. Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, UML, MS Visio or similar. Experience using analytics tools including Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and other similar tools. Familiarity with API-driven architectures and integration projects. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable working in Agile including SAFe or hybrid delivery environments. Desirable Skills Knowledge of maritime regulatory standards (e.g., IMO, SOLAS, cyber compliance). Experience working with ship management systems, IoT data platforms, or fleet management tools.
